Legal text :

1 The federal authorities shall conduct surveys of national interest concerning: a. flood protection; b. hydrological conditions. 2 They shall make the data they gather, and their interpretation, available to interested parties. 3 The Federal Council shall regulate the execution of surveys and the exploitation of gathered data. 4 The federal authorities shall publish technical directives and advise the authorities responsible for surveying.
