Ordinance of 1 November 2017 on the energy efficiency requirements for series-produced Installations, Vehicles and Equipment

1 Every year, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE) shall analyse the data relating to energy consumption, CO2 emissions and other characteristics of all series-produced private cars first registered during the preceding year, and inform the public accordingly. 2 The Federal Roads Office shall supply the necessary data. 3 The SFOE shall create databases and draw up lists of the information in Annex 4.1 chapters 1 to 3 for the current series-produced private cars placed on the market or supplied. In particular, it shall establish classifications according to energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In doing so, it shall rely on Annex II of Directive 1999/94/EC. 4 The SFOE shall post on the Internet the information taken from the databases and the lists in accordance with paragraph 3 and regularly update them.
