Article 7 para. 2 PostSA Exchange of address data Postal service providers processing address data for forwarding, redirection and retention of postal items shall exchange these data without delay with other postal service providers, against remuneration. Article 22 PostSO Right to exchange data sequences 1 Providers of home delivery may exchange address data contained in customer orders (data sequences). 2 They may exchange address data with a view to processing for the following purposes, provided that this is required for the delivery of postal items: a. forwarding; b. redirection; c. mail retention. 3 The provider of home delivery shall inform its customers that their address data are being used. 4 Before forwarding a data sequence to third parties, the home delivery provider shall obtain the consent of the data subject. The person shall incur no costs by refusing consent. Article 27 para. 3 Non-discrimination and reference to agreements 3 Where a home delivery provider negotiates a data sequence exchange agreement with a provider supplying data sequences PostCom shall, on request, allow the home delivery provider to see the data sequence provider’s existing agreements with other providers. This rule is not applicable to content under the binder of trade secrecy.
