Federal Statistics Act of 9 October 1992

1 The bases and main statistical results shall be published in the official languages in a form suited to user needs. Unpublished results shall be made accessible to users in suitable form. 2 For this purpose, the Office shall set up the necessary infrastructure and make it available to other generators of statistics so that they can disseminate their results. 3 Without prejudice to the legally required publications, the results shall be presented in a form which makes it impossible to deduce the circumstances of any natural or legal person, unless the data subject had made the processed data public. 4 The Federal Council may restrict access to certain results, for other compelling reasons.
