Agricultural Zones Ordinance of 7 December 1998

Article 5 Presentation and use of agricultural zones and regions 1 FOAG shall mark the agricultural zones and regions on digital topographical maps and present the agricultural zone and region maps at the Geoportal of the Swiss Confederation map.geo.admin.ch. These maps shall constitute the agricultural production register. 2 FOAG shall electronically report changes made to the boundaries of agricultural zones and regions to the departments concerned. The competent cantonal authorities shall immediately apply the set of master geodata to the agricultural zones and regions from the federal geoinformation platform data.geo.admin.ch and input them to the cantonal geographical information system to which the agricultural zones and regions belong. They shall also keep the updated set of master geodata at the public geoportals, provided that the agricultural zones and regions are shown there.
